Architecture for the evening. The Velum is a study in the physics of reflection, treating light as a structural element rather than a mere utility. Drawing inspiration from the "Soft Brutalism" movement, it combines a heavy, grounding cylindrical base with a delicate, angled reflector. The light source is completely hidden within the body, casting a beam upward that strikes the disc and washes the surrounding space in a diffused, warm amber glow. It is a piece that demands presence even when unlit—a geometric totem of silence and precision.
